A massively over-engineered torquey retro triple that takes its looks from the classic era, but its performance and reliability from the modern era. It was styled to create the look of an air-cooled triple, but the radiator gives away its liquid cooled heart.
The engine was a development of the block that had brought Triumph back into competetiveness (with the likes of the Trident 900, Speed Triple, and Trophy 900).
Several variants were produced towards the end of its life, notably the Legend, Adventurer, and Thunderbird Sport.
