Les Harris Bonneville

After the demise of the Meriden Co-operative, Les Harris of Racing Spares licensed the rights to produce T140s from the new owner of Triumph, John Bloor.

Around 1,250 Bonnevilles were produced from the Newton Abbot factory of Les Harris, formerly a Triumph parts supplier, in Devon South-West England. These were distinct from the previous models in having having German Magura switchgear, Italian Paioli front suspension, and Lafranconi silencers.

Because of the Les Harris Bonnevilles, Triumph has been in continuous production of motorcycles since 1902 making Triumph the oldest continuous production motorcycle manufacturer in the world.
