OK so I'm not a purist, my Trident has been slightly modified- Speed Four bars and I think, Thruxton pipes for a subtle cafe racer look. I love triples and I'm proud to be a Triumph owner.

I acquired this bike kind of by accident, I went to see my friend at his garage and he told me a customer had some kind of old Brit bike he wanted him to put on the lot to sell. Needless to say, it never made it out to the sales lot. A very close to stock/original survivor.

My Latest Triumph!
The Thunderbird is the latest Triumph. I have been riding for 34 yrs and having owned many Japanese bikes, but then I bought a '94 Trident followed by a Daytona 955i. I later tried other machines but came back to a '09 Sprint ST. I would still own that but I saw this Thunderbird in Webbs of Lincoln and had to have it! After an epic journey from Aldershot to Lincoln on the Sprint (jan 3rd 2012 - 70mph winds) I managed to lay my hands on it. Its mine now forever! Or until the next one....
