Triumph announce the Bonneville Scrambler 1200

Triumph have today (9th August 2018) announced that there will be an all-new Scrambler 1200 model coming soon. In yet another addition to their Modern Classic range, they have put the 1200cc Bonneville engine into an off-road styled machine to make a large capacity version of the existing Street Scrambler.

Triumph are definitely gearing this machine towards a dual-purpose market promising that it is as good off-road as it is on the road. An Adventure bike, but with classic 'Scrambler' looks. The announcement is a fair few months ahead of the apparent launch date, and Triumph are asking you to leave your contact details for more information as it comes - they will be drip-feeding the details about the new model to create a buzz.

The projected launch date is the 24th October 2018. This will almost certainly be a live event with a hand-picked audience, broadcast on Triumph's website. You may be able to get an invite if you speak to your dealer. After the launch, expect the machine to feature first at the Regent Street Motor Show (03/11/2018) and at EICMA (8-11/11/2018).
