New model profile added

A new profile has been added to the list of Triumph motorcycle models on this site: The Model Z (1932).
In the 30's the UK Government reduced the Road Fund Licence for machines under 150cc, and Triumph responded with this '147cc' machine (though in fact it was over 148cc).

It was produced at the same time as the Model X (Junior) and the 98cc and 147cc Glorias. Only in production for a year, less than 2,000 were produced.

It was one of the first unit-construction (engine and 2-speed gearbox combined) models produced. Parts are extremely rare and hard to come by.
