Triumph reveal livery for 2021 BSB

Racing as the Dynavolt team in the 2021 British Supersport race series, Triumph have today (26th April 2021) unveiled the look of their Street Triple 765 RS machine complete with fairings. The Dynavolt team is a partnership between Triumph and PTR (Performance Technical Racing) led by Simon Buckmaster.

The Trident Tour is coming to a UK dealer near you throughout April, May and into June. Accompanied by expert riders, you can see for yourself how the class-leading Trident performs on the road. There are full motorcycle or A2 license slots, just pick your favourite dealer and select one of six sessions.

MAG Survey on Petrol Engines Needs You...

...to take their survey on petrol engined motorcycles before April 20th. The Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) has launched a poll of UK motorcyclists to gauge opinions on the use of petrol-powered motorcycles. The poll will close at 5pm on the 20th April 2021 but your answers will shape the future that MAG will fight for.

It is now on the 18th July 2021. So it was probably too much to hope that the previous date was going to remain in place with the ever-changing COVID restrictions but this time we might be a bit more confident about things. The venue remains the same - the Royal Victoria in Llanberis, Wales. See you there.

Triumph Show Off Electric Powertrain Prototype

Triumph have revealed the prototype of an innovative advanced electric powertrain and battery, and the first styling sketches for their Project TE-1 prototype. This completes Phase 2 of this four phase project that was launched back in May 2019 by Triumph in collaboration with three other partners.

UK DVSA U-Turn on using LED Headlight Bulbs

The UK's DVSA have reversed their decision to outlaw LED headlight bulbs fitted to motorcycles. In a special notice they have now advised MOT testers that such fitments should be allowed and should not be an MOT failure. This will apply to all motorcycles irrespective of age and is a welcome development.

UK Bike Meets under Threat from proposed Legislation

Legislation that is currently going through Parliament could be used to stop bikers meeting up at the regular bike meets through complaints about noise. Up to now the noise created by meetings hasn't been a public order matter but the new legislation could change all that with meetings stopped by just a few complaints.
