Following the massive success of Museum LIVE over the past three years, Saturday 04/11/17 will see the museum host their 4th annual free open day when everyone will be invited to visit the museum collection free of charge.

One of the most important aspects of the National Motorcycle Museum Friends Scheme is giving its members the chance to take part in some unique activities that just wouldn’t be possible otherwise. Some of this unique content includes our "Classic Bike Tours", "Ride a Classic Days" & our "Workshop Training Days". The museum is excited to announce the first of these dates for 2017 which are exclusive to friends of the museum.  More dates will be announced during the year.

Triumph have apparently confirmed the pricing of their new Street Scrambler machine, according to Woods Motorcycles, at £8,900. There is currently no indication on the main Triumph website, but dealers are beginning to list the price on their websites.

This year the US Triumph National Rally is taking place on the 23rd to the 25th June at the Oley Fairgrounds, 26 Jefferson Street, Oley, Pennsylvania, 19547. They are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Gary Nixon's win at the Daytona 200 in 1967 on a Triumph Daytona.

The launch night for the 2017 Bonneville range in the UK is taking place on Thursday the 23rd February with all UK dealers taking part. The whole of the Bonneville range will be on show including the new Street Cup and Bonneville T100, and especially the Bonneville Bobber and the Street Scrambler models.

In a star-studded launch at the ArcelorMittal Orbital in the Olympic Park (Stratford, London), Triumph unveiled their new Street Triple range to a crowd of fans. There will be three models in the range each with different power ratings and specs - the S, the R, and the RS.

On the 4th September 2016, an attempt was made on the World Record for the 'Most Triumph Motorcycles in a Parade'. Guinness World Records have now confirmed that a new World Record of 539 Triumph motorcycles was set by Staffordshire Triumph.

Following the development of the new Street Triple (being launched on the 10th), Triumph will be developing the engine further over the coming year after winning a contract to provide 750cc control engines for the Moto2 Championship - taking over from Honda at the end of the 2018 series.

Another date for your diary is the Bike Shed London show from the 26th to the 28th May 2017. Bike Shed’s infamous independent motorcycle Show returns to London’s Tobacco Dock for it’s regular annual May slot, with their 8th Show – bigger and better than ever.
