Valentino Rossi, in an interview, has stated that he thinks the Triumph Moto2 machines are more of a race bike than the previous Honda 600 and a good preparation for riders for MotoGP. Triumph have announced their Triumph Design Awards competition for 2019. It is open to 16–18 year old students who have used Design to solve a real world problem, the Triumph Design Awards encourages and celebrates creative thinking, innovative problem solving and the ability to produce feasible solutions to real world challenges.

With the sudden closure of Metropolis Motorcycles on the South Bank of the Thames in September 2018, Triumph had lost their main dealer in the heart of the City. However, Lind Automotive Group have announced that they will be opening a Central London dealership in the very same railway arches in Vauxhall.

Every year, at the Club AGM, the 'THAT' Trophy is awarded to the branch which has performed the best Membership wise. The branch that won this prestigious Trophy for 2018 was TOMCC Italia with an outstanding achievement. Last year's winners (TOMCC USA) were second, and South Lincolnshire were third.

At the recent Club AGM (7th April 2019), the results of the Landmark Challenge for 2018 were announced. Trophies were awarded for Best Branch and for Best Individual. Winning the Best Branch award was North West London and winning the Best Individual award was Chris North (or North West London branch).

Following the fairly recent opening of Triumph Birmingham West in Halesowen, Triumph are opening another dealership based over in East Birmingham. Triumph Birmingham East in Tamworth will provide a second sales and servicing outlet for Triumph in UK's second largest city and presumably second largest bike market in the UK.

Even though there are still almost 6 months to go to Trifest Skye, the event itself has sold out completely with every place in the area fully booked. Trifest Skye is being held on the Scottish Isle on the 20th to 23rd of September 2019, and is the second time the TOMCC have hosted a Trifest event up in Scotland.
